Xilin's ACJC life reflection

Xilin's ACJC life reflection

I have had a wonderful JC life in ACJC with our buddies and all ACJC students. They are really friendly and help me a lot during JXP. When I was hanging in the campus and looking for some special courses to take, some warmhearted student introduce me some very interesting classes and help me know more about Singapore JC. During this time, I made many local and Chinese friends, especially with our three buddies: Jun Wen, Jonathan and Benjamin. They are very active and we had a great memory of being together with them.

Wenrui's Reflection

I must say that it is a wonderful and unforgettable time for me to spend these days with Ben in ACJC. Ben is very responsible, he is a talented boy and I can feel his passion and enthusiasm. We share the experience before and learn from each other. I also experience their school life in Singapore which I believe is quite different from the one in China.
I am really appreciate the friends who guide me and help me during the period, and I enjoy the nice meals, the funny teachers as well as the chat with all of you. I treasure the time we play soccer and table tennis, and the friendship between us.

Cai can's experience in ACJC

After having this JC program, I think that I have learned a lot from my one-week experience in JC. First, I was very interested in how local students had classes in high school. And now I know more about their mode of having classes which is very compact. They seize every minute to study, which makes me feel quite embarrassing because I have wasted much time after enter university. Second, I have learned how to get along with local students. Everyone has a buddy and we need to stay and communicate with them. From my experience of getting along with my buddy, I find that Singapore students also have the same interests with us. If we can communicate fluently with each other, we must become good friends. In a word, this one-week program in JC is very beneficial to me.

Those days in ACJC----Siwen's reflection

I have to say that it is a quite interesting, impressive and unforgettable experience. Not only because it helps me know the JC life of Singaporeans, but also helps me make many good friends, especially my dear buddy, Victoria. She talked to me about their life so that I could better get along with local people when we enter the university. During this process, I benefit quite a lot. I will always remember those days when I was in ACJC.

That's what they call yuanfen. With ACJC buddy. By Phoenyx, Zhang Xinyi.

It is undoubtedly an unforgettable memory for me because the days spent with ACJC buddies were just too good to describe by human language.

My buddy, Therese Ang Wen Qi, is such a beauty with great talent in singing and dancing!
Most importantly, we share the same nickname: giraffe!

The whole week staying with her, attending all the classes she takes and experiencing the life she goes through everyday is not boring at all. She cares about me and took good care of me (sounds strange, but never mind~).

Besides, I always enjoy the time with her and all her friends, hearing them sing the opera they have performed and popular songs they like. God knows how lucky I am to just walk behind them and watch them happily doing this doing that. They are so like me! Feel like singing and dancing any time! However I did not appear too crazy during those days XD~

All the other friends I met in 1SC2 are just so nice and friendly with creative thoughts and optimistic mind. That's why I love the whole JXP programme so much! Meeting all of u is the very important event ever in my life!

Thanks to all the friends I know for leading me experience their days, showing their hospitality, playing having fun together, and most importantly, being good friends for ever !

reflection and photos from Zhou Yimin

JXP is really an enjoyable experience. We are quite lucky to meet so many local friends and then make friends with them. Through this process, we get to know how they behave, how they think and how they communicate with others. It is treasurable because we will inevitably need to work with them when entering university. A week is not a long period. However, the friendship will last forever~

Zhoutong’s reflection about JXP

I really enjoy this journey in acjc. It gives me an excellent chance to make friends with local people in jc. My buddy is a very nice and helpful guy, and he told me a lot of things about life in jc. I really enjoy life there, and I hope that if I have a chance, I can go back to jc again and study and live there. Study in jc is a meaningful journey and people in jc are all very nice. Also, the out-door activities are very interesting and I really enjoy it.

Me & ACJC (Han Zijian)

We have wraped up our ACJC experience, with glittering memories rooted in our minds. I started off with a mind simple enough to get plunged into the conception of what being "local" is like, but ended up beyond that. I reactivated my high school memories, but from a different perspective. I got acquainted with people, but in a brand-new context. All in all, I had fun and laughters thoughout the entire experience: a week plus a saturday. Smiles in the photos would suffice to prove that.
