Reflection-Dongzhou

The most important thing about the JXP program is that it provides us an experience to fully expose ourselves to local JC students and make friends with them. Although the program lasted only one week, the bonds and friendship that were created would be an important part of our future life in Singapore. After the one-week immersion in ACJC, I found myself more comfortable and willing to interact with locals, and I even decided to pick up some Singlish to better integrate with them. In addition, their hospitality and vitality impressed me a lot and I felt the need to be more easy-going and energetic in everyday life.
